since the broadcast on the manamana show at the Tilos radio, Dj Suefo was so kind to write an review as well for the Hungarian audience, here is the english translation of what he wrote;
Driftkikker is a dutch nu-jazz band, but I didn't mean it the accustomed way when I had chosen the genre. In essence it's modern, electronic pop in a package of jazz, furthemore being very pleasant. Daddo, the bandleader, writes the lyrics, plays the guitars, rocks the synthetizers and gets the grooves going. His friends help him playing on instruments, Ned plays bass, while John Kakiay plays on drums. Although Daddo has been into several audio-visual projects for a time, this debut LP is being put together to one nice piece compared with an average debut albums. Not only does it sound good, but there are properly composed tracks featured as well. This cd is mainly for home listening and recall the musical world of Stereo MC's and Jamariquai at times, thus this album will be easy to fall in love with. To obtain it will be a bit harder, but it won't be impossible if you have an internet connection.
